Saving On Beer

Brewing, Engineering, Equipment, Ingredients, Recipe

Most of my recipes include lots of fancy fruits and exotic items I like to play around with which usually drive up the cost of my beer. It’s important for me to find ways to keep costs down.

On site I stumbled across one day was http://www.homebrewfinds.com/. I’m sure most of you are aware of them but it’s a great way to find ingredients you might not have had access to before because of the cost.

Also don’t forget to enlist the service of your friends at http://www.reddit.com/r/homebrewing almost always somebody has some trick up their sleeves to help you save some cash.

Another thing I like to do for larger equipment items or other purchases is to set up a google alert to let me know when something I’m looking for gets posted. I don’t think enough people leverage this valuable tool. http://www.google.com/alerts
