CO2 Leaks

Brewing, Engineering, Equipment

Most of my learnings are usually warnings to myself. Another recent mistake I made when diving into kegging, was not checking my CO2 lines for leaks after I attached them to the keg.

It’s actually fairly simple to check for leaks. Once you’ve hooked up the lines all you need to do is get a soapy cloth and dab it on the lines. Then run the lines and see if there are any leaks then tighten accordingly.

Or if you want to REALLY be sure, dunk your tank into some water to check the tank is holding pressure properly as well.
