We’ve recently moved offices and we have some pretty great views of Downtown Manhattan. One little boat off the edge of Ellis Island has caught my attention on several occasions. I’ve been searching high and low across the interwebs and have finally pinpointed what this boat is… a bar!
The Honorable William Wall is a boat that’s owned and operated by the Manhattan Sailing Club that docks off the edge of Ellis Island during the warmer months. Club members and citizens are welcome aboard during specific hours throughout the week via a boat operated by the club.
You’re welcome to bring a picnic with you but drinks must be purchased on the boat. Take note though you nonmembers, it’s a first come first serve basis and if they’re hitting max capacity it’s members and their guests to the front of the line. I intend to check it out some time soon!
